All these were stated by the court in public while sentencing a Bangladeshi national for 4 years due to his illegal staying in the national capital.

In accordance with the court, Fazlu, Bangladeshi national and also the convict, had been connected to an assortment of criminal activities and (hence) cases in New Delhi. Deganga flares up following accidental death of 2 Muslim women

Hafiz, Lashkar-e-Taiba mentor, has stated time and again of the need to liberate Hyderabad and Junagadh and these words too, “There cannot be any peace while India remains intact. Cut them, cut them so much that they kneel before you and ask for mercy.” Mufti Fazlul Haq Amini, on the other hand, remaining under house arrest and being investigated for his assumed pro-Taliban links has stated of late in public that Kolkata and Dhaka will be united for a greater Bangladesh before long. A single blank fire of Hindus to drive out Islamic hoodlums is responded by no less than 35 firings.

There are other sinister effects of this. Hindu women have become a sport, do remain vulnerable to Islamic lust always and hence, Hindu women outraged by Muslims there fail to become any news too. There is no need of any urban style Love Jihad as Hindu women, out of fear and insecurity, can be obtained easily – enjoyed by Muslim men, young and old alike.

This is not the first time when Sutia, village positioned in P.S. Bongaon, Dist. 24 Paraganas (North), Indian state of Bengal, in India-Bangladesh border area is in news; a sensation occurred when the intrusion of armed Muslims from Bangladesh there was published in hindusamati.org – article named Armed Bangladeshi Muslim intruders plunder bordering Hindu village in India (http://hindusamhati.blogspot.com/2011/10/armed-bangladeshi-muslim-intruders_14.html). What made them enter the Indian village of Sutia easily was the absence of BSF patrol and Kudulia river, having ankle-deep water these days. And the same was done on the previous night of December 30. 500 Muslim Bangladeshis, if not more, entered Sutia likewise. BSF personnel (at that time), without a doubt, chased them to zero point of border. The intruders retaliated forcefully with heavy brickbats leading to severe injuries of a few BSF personnel. Now the question remains – why BSF didn’t fire a shot even. Today, January 02, 2012, 5 more Muslims from Bangladesh have been nabbed along with 36 cows, and they have been handed over to administration. It has also come to the knowledge that close to Lautara village 5 Muslims have also been held by members of a local club.

Dipkia Halder has been recovered successfully at 11.30 am today, December 19, 2011, from the residence of culprit Mujibar Lasker. No less than 100 Hindu Samhati activists and villagers accompanied Mr. Dilip Halder, father of Dipika, to save the hapless Hindu girl from the grasp of Muslim perpetrator. No defence against advancing Hindus could be built up as seeing the enraged crowd Mujibar had no other option but to flee.

Hindu Samhati assigned its activists to keep a close watch on the movement of Mujibar’s family. And thanks to this rigorous watch, every information became available straightforwardly.

Now here is a question. Why is Hindu-Muslim relation in the village at an all-time low? A meticulous investigation has brought to the fore some cruel yet highly imperative facts. It has been learnt that Muslims, in spite of enjoying their predominant position for years, started to pass by Hindu area with Tazia on every Muharram day only three years ago and it was to teach Hindus a lesson. What are the faults of Hindus? Hindus in the village, on every year, celebrate Kali Puja and make a grand procession (with official permission) to immerse the Holy Deity. The procession, by coincidence, goes past the local Singhamara Masjid and this irks Muslims and also provokes them to teach Hindus a lesson.

Some of these happen to be sweet shops of Paresh Maity and Dayal respectively, cloth shop of Manoranjan and vegetable shop of Tarun.

The situation was highly explosive and fearing more Islamic attacks in due course Hindus started to defend themselves; as a part of defence, 2 Muslim shoe shops, decorative and profitable, were reduced to ashes. Noticeably, Muslim attacks died down eventually.

RAF has been deployed to quell any form of ruckus and violence in the area.

As per fresh reports, lots of Hindu houses in adjoining Shantinagar have been destroyed. It has also been learnt that Muslims are preparing for a wild attack and it will commence once RAF is withdrawn.

December 06 – Hindu Shaurya Day

Chances do come rarely in the life of any individual or any nation or nationality. It was Babur, the first Mughal emperor, under whose guidance the infamous mosque was built in Ayodhya, regarded as one of the holiest cities of Hindus (being the birth place of Sri Ram) across the globe, in 1527 and was also named after him. There have been lots of other mosques in the neighborhood but the significance of the disputed site always used to highlight the structure. From the very beginning myriad Hindu accounts have been confirming the mosque to be built destroying an ancient temple dedicated to Sri Rama.

To find a definite solution out, a series of archaeological excavations, under the auspices of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), took place in 1970, 1992 and 2003 and each and every report has mentioned the existence of an extensive Hindu complex in the disputed site only. Only in 2003, being ordered by the Hon’ble Court of India, ASI conducted an in-depth study to ascertain the kind of structure existing beneath the wreckage and it stated officially the presence of “ distinctive features associated with………… temples of north India.” It also stated, “stone and decorated bricks as well as mutilated sculpture of a divine couple and carved architectural features, including foliage patterns, amalaka, kapotapali, doorjamb with semi-circular shrine pilaster, broke octagonal shaft of black schist pillar, lotus motif, circular shrine having pranjala (watershute) in the north and 50 pillar bases in association with a huge structure.”

Without a shred of doubt, the findings of ASI have sent a shudder through the spine of Indian brand of secularism that has compelled its greatest votaries to term the entire report as concocted. The Union Government of India is too afraid to come to a final conclusion, being apprehensive of the resurgence of true Hindutva force in Indian populace once and for all.

Here is a question. What do all said findings of ASI authenticate? It deduces one conclusion only; the entire Babri Masjid was an expression of Islamic triumph on the land of Hindus and to exhibit the ultimate supremacy of Islam over Hinduism – an intrinsic trait of the religion (political treatise is perhaps a better word!). It is for the first time that the state govt. dared to take an absolutely correct and legitimate step to stop Electricity theft by Muslims which is most common in all Muslim majority areas of West Bengal. I congratulate Mamata Banerjee for her exemplary courage. Hindus appreciate Mamata for this and future effort to stop all type of illegal and criminal misdeeds of Muslims all over West Bengal.

Now CPIM and Congress will surely jump in the scene and will try to fish in the muddy water. In this case the 'fish' is minority vote. So, they will suppress the fact that Muslims were stealing the electricity, and it is their regular practice all over West Bengal and all over India. They will try to gloss over that the very life of 25 people (16 were employees of WB State Electricity Board and the rest were Police personnel) were in great danger, as the mob had surrounded them after blocking all the connecting roads to that area, and were intent upon beating the Govt. personnel to death. These vote hungry parties will also suppress that how violently “ordinary” Muslims, not the “criminal” Muslims, attack the administrative personnel when they try to stop illegal activities in Muslim areas and enforce the law.

Mamata Banerjee has surprised her followers and critics many times in the past. Once again she is surprising all by taking strong steps against criminal and illegal acts of the Muslims, who thought that their 'Raj' will be established after Mamata comes to power.

Of course, most surprised lot are the Muslims of West Bengal. In simple term, they just got a 'jhatka'. It was beyond their expectation.

In the most communally sensitive district of South 24 Parganas, where Muslim population has exceeded 35 percent and where TMC first got its electoral success by wining the Zilla Parishad even before its last parliamentary election success. And made Shamima Bibi the Sabhadhipati of Zilla Parishad (Chairperson of District Council). Muslims have been shocked most by the unexpected behavior of police. After being sure of Mamata’s attitude or intention, their ‘majhabi’ and political leadership decided to confront it head on. Hence, this (Mograhat incident) is 3^rdmajor clash between Muslim and Police within a span of 38 days in this district. First was attacking Kulpi Police Station and its family quarters on 26 October, second was attack on the police team of Jibantala P.S. by a violent Muslim mob when police caught a notorious criminal Kutubuddin, and the third is Mograhat.

After this untoward incident of Mograhat, surely Mamata Banerjee will be in a tricky position. To quell the situation, she has to take some steps which will displease many, particularly the pro Hindutva supporters and activists, and also the police personnel. This development is a defining moment for her. Let us hope that she successfully gets out of the tricky situation and governs the state smoothly.

Hooking of electricity has become a common practice in the Muslim-dominated areas throughout District: 24 Paraganas (South); village Nainan, P.S. Mograhat is no different and if the government officials dare to call this illegal practice a halt even for once, (violent) battering or thrashing waits for them only.

All these have taken place when responsible officials belonging to Board of Electricity went to Nainan along with police personnel of P.S. Mograhat to stop hooking today itself and they were attacked by a violent Muslim mob. To quell the fast increasing violence, RAF was deployed and police, as a part of self-defence, fired upon the violent mob leading to the death of 2 Muslim women. 22 people including 16 police personnel are critically injured. As per fresh reports, 6 police cars have been torched.

Is this an isolated incident? Even if the reigning government and its secular Left opposition love to term this as a stray incident, reality depicts that situation is out of the frying pan into the fire. Aseemanand questions bail to Malegaon 7, claims was tortured

Myriad reports published in this news site have already depicted how hapless the condition of Hindu womenfolk in the Indian state of Bengal is getting in the wake of mounting onslaughts and sexual attacks of Muslim fundamentalists but the gang rape of Papiya (name changed), daughter of Jibon Santra (name changed), village: Raghunathpur, P.S. Mandirbazar, District: 24 Paraganas (South), on November 16, 2011, sufficient to shame wild beasts even, surpasses all these. Papiya happens to be an innocent Hindu girl of 17 years and on the fateful day, she went to a small pond in the field, behind her house, to fetch some fishes for the lunch. She was seized there by 4 Muslim hooligans and was gang raped. An FIR was lodged by the wretched Hindu family but now, it is proved that both the FIR and Medical Report have been twisted leading to an intense dissension among Hindus in the environs.

The outrageous incident of ravishment of Papiya, as already stated, took place at 2 pm on November 16, 2011, when she was in the field to have some fishes for the lunch. It is to be noted that the impoverished family hardly have the capacity to have fishes in lunch on a regular basis. So to have the merriment she went to the field but little did she know that the same desire for merriment would turn into her worst misery. She was grabbed by 4 Muslim youths, overcome easily and was raped one by one till she had consciousness.

Since Papiya did not return within the scheduled time, her family members started to search her and finally at 3.30 pm she was found wounded, in an unconscious state and scantily dressed. The aghast family took injured and comatose Papiya to the residence and afterwards she was admitted to Nairhat Primamry Hospital. Witnessing her sinking condition, the hospital took no chance, referred her to Diamond Harbour Sub Divisional Hospital where she was admitted in a short while.

Meanwhile, the situation in the village of Raghunathpur and its neighborhood, owing to the ravishment of Papiya by Muslim goons and indifference to it by the administration, started to get more defiant; Hindus became adamant extremely and out of rage blocked the thoroughfare lying before the village again and again. The situation was alarming; Muslim, from neighborhood villages, witnessed the same but did not react. All these went on throughout the following days of November 17 and 18.

The circumstances just swinged with the Muslims entering the scenario in numbers. As per Hindus, Muslims, feeling the state of affairs turning against them fast, thought it wise to jump into action. Not only the rail track and road was blocked by them (on November 19) to protest against Hindu acts on previous days but a series of bombs was also hurled on Raghunathpur. Hindus, instead of getting afraid and running back and forth, started defending themselves valiantly and jumped Islamic criminals. The violent skirmish ended with the timely interference of RAF and police force from P.S. Mandirbazar but strikingly, police force was found to harass and persecute Hindus only saving Muslims.

Along with 2 Muslims, 6 Hindus have also been arrested to retain law and order with communal harmony (!!!). They happen to be Pijus Mandal, Anup Naskar, Tapan Haldar, Bidyut Haldar, Sukanta Chatterjee, Animesh Haldar. It has been learnt that all of them have been taken to Diamond Harbour P.S. While Pijus hail from the village of Krishnarampur, others are from the village of Raghunathpur. (As fresh reports are coming in, all 6 Hindus have been bailed out).

When this scribe went to the village in person (Mandirbazar on November 19, 2011) to investigate the reality, the same violent situation and seething attitude of the Hindu populace was perceived.

Here is a note on the following yet spectacular developments. Local Muslim leadership left no stone unturned to turn the incident into its favor and their nefarious network was seen to spread a single message across the neighborhood – what happened was a result of consent of the girl, slovenly woman or slut in every sense of the term. Astonishingly the same version was uttered by local political leaders and police personnel too, authenticating the constant need and importance of a set Muslim vote bank. It was witnessed by this scribe too during talking in P.S. Mandirbazar on November 19, 2011.

It is worthwhile to mention that RAF was stationed at Raghunathpur in the morning on November 19, 2011, but was withdrawn, due to weird reasons, in the evening leading to the beginning of a fresh violence by Muslims. Bombs, in large numbers, were thrust to Hindu villages once again inviting stringent police action once more. But this time too the prime targets of police were Hindu households and people. All these made Hindus resolute and an incomparable unity among them was perceived.

Hindus, at once, decided not to participate in any meeting henceforth and the same mood came to light when the peace meeting, happening on November 20, 2011 during evening, took place comprising bountiful Muslims, large police contingent, CM Jatua, MP – Mathurapur, Joydeb Haldar, MLA – Mandirbazar along with local political leadership but with no Hindu. Here is the unanimous decision of Hindus – not to compromise and continue the struggle till the culprits are nabbed and justice is attained.

Lastly, both the FIR (No. 202 dtd. 16/11/11) and Medical Report have been twisted. The Medical Report affirms that Papiya is a psychic patient with no external or internal injury and hence, her family has been advised to consult a psychiatrist. Family members of Papiya’s family confirm that this was not the original FIR submitted by them.

Papiya, in spite of being weak and sick extremely, has been discharged from Diamond Harbour Sub Divisional Hospital forcefully and all these prove political pressure has played a major role in distorting the Medical Report with the FIR. Incidentally, in the beginning, the concerned doctor said that he would refer Papiya to Chittaranjan Hospital, Kolkata but the Medical Report proves otherwise. The doctor has become an easy prey to the heinous political pressure and has done a gross injustice to a hapless and innocent girl of the Hindu society.

Gruesome murder of Hindu doctors in Pakistan depicts the vicious reality once more

In our earlier report “Cow slaughter at full blast in Bengal” (http://hindusamhati.blogspot.com/2011/11/cow-slaughter-at-full-blast-in-bengal.html) we had reported how the saga of cow slaughter reached an all-time high mark this year flouting rigorous court orders (passed by Hon’ble Calcutta High Court, 2010 and Hon’ble Supreme Court later – strengthened in latest order passed by C.J. Mr. Jay Narayan Patel on 2nd Nov.2011) against the same slaughtering of cows. Alas, the situation is more terrible than that!

Despite the presence of dissonance among Hindus in Bengal, exploited by an assortment of political factions at times, Hindus, this time, stunning many of their adversaries, offered stiff resistance against the cow slaughter at several areas in Bengal. And at every such place Hindus were confronted by a conglomeration of Islamic fundamentalists (or even total Muslim populace in the environs) and large contingents of police forces leading to the brutal thrashing of them. What is happening in the village of Dakshin Sankrail Kalitala, P.S. Sankrail, District: Howrah now proves how bitter the State repression can be in independent India on an innocent mass of people.

There were surely enough factors behind the eruption of Hindu-Muslim brushes in Dakshin Sankrail Kalitala, P.S. Sankrail, District: Howrah on 07.11.11. Hindus, defenseless to the highest extent, became easiest victims soon and though there was no casualty, Hindu houses were ransacked and if there was anything left, it was done by police personnel, who instead of containing the hostility, termed Hindus, especially the Thunder family, as sole troublemakers. What made police consider boys of the Thunder family as mischief-makers, absent during the Muslim-led violence, is yet to be known but the administration didn’t even dither to accept FIR s against Krishnapada Thunder (age 35), Sahadev Thunder (age 30) and Nakul Thunder (age 25).

It has been learnt from the testimonies of neighbors that repeated admonitions from police are coming on stating unless the three brothers (absconding for the time being) surrender soon, serious measures would be adopted against them. Police, in the beginning, assured Hindus in the environs that no cow slaughter would be tolerated in the locality. What an irony! Even Bifal Thunder (age 70), father and also head of the family, was also not spared. Ignoring his age, police on 08.11.11 (in the morning) came to the residence of Thunder family and threatened the ageing father of dire consequences if not his sons surrender in next to no time. Getting panicked Bifal left the house and hence, he could not be seen during the investigation of this journalist.

When this scribe went to Dakshin Sankrail Kalitala on 08.11.11, a weird silence was perceived only. Hindu households wore just a blunt look and when asked, almost like an automatic machine Hindu indwellers there pointed towards the bits and pieces of destruction. The magnitude of flexing of muscles, admonitions and also violence displayed by Islamic fundamentalists along with heinous state repression was too overpowering for them. Sandhya Thunder, mother of the boys, burst into tears, when asked of the incident.

A few police personnel present there dared not to say a single word and when asked, they stated that O.C. (Officer-in-Charge) was the best person to answer.

Nevertheless, the O.C. was not available in the police station for comments. When asked, the duty officer there could not render his cellular phone number even!

This is not a rare instance altogether. Scores of such incidents (similar to the village of Dakshin Sankrail Kalitala, P.S. Sankrail, District: Howrah) are taking place across Bengal day in and day out and there is no need of any pretext of Hindus are posing threats to Islam – complete support of reigning administration is making Muslims an overwhelming power in Bengal.

Hindus clash with police to stop cow slaughter in 24 Paraganas (South)

Hindus in Bengal, like previous years, have not taken the issue of cow slaughter lightly this year too and offered strong resistances against it wherever it could be organized. However there were major differences as well; passing of court verdicts against cow slaughter and the blatant violation of the same by Muslims aided by State support irked them a lot. This fiery mood of them could be perceived in the village of Karaiberia, P.S. Ramnagar, District: 24 Paraganas (South) as well.

The Hindu mob there was excessively agitated from the days before even and the trenchant endeavor of Muslims to slaughter cow and the administration’s mute support to it on 07.11.11 happened to be the last straw on the camel’s back.

A severe Hindu-Muslim clash ensued that turned out to be a Hindu-police clash soon. Hindus blamed the police force for the entire incident and made a daring attack on it at 9 am. Without a doubt there were injuries on both parts and arrest of 7 Hindus. 4 Hindus are also in the list but they are running off at the moment.

The arrested Hindus include Jagabandhu Jana (age 40), Bijon Bera (age 52), Aditya Jana (age 18), Bharat Mandal (age 30), Prabhash Kapat (age 28), Shivani Jana (age 38) and Sukumari Jana (age 46).

The sections imposed on them are: 147/148/149/186/332/307/295A/153A/153B/427/506.

Before ending, one thing must be said. The police proved to be very prompt to detain Hindus protesting against an unconstitutional act. Had it been so prompt to put an end to cow slaughter, there would not have been any such trouble.

As fresh reports are coming in, cow slaughter in Bengal this year, despite the presence of rigorous court orders (passed by Hon’ble Calcutta High Court, 2010 and Hon’ble Supreme Court later – strengthened in latest order passed by C.J. Mr. Jay Narayan Patel on 2nd Nov.2011) against the same slaughtering of cows, has reached an all-time high mark already.

There are other surprising facts as well – while Muslims in some areas, not so predominantly Muslim even, have dared to slaughter cow and carry the meat through Hindu areas with merriment, thus flouting aforesaid court verdicts and hurting Hindu sentiments, in several areas police and administration have been perceived to escort Muslims safely to slaughter cows. An honest court verdict has to be executed honestly. Isn’t it?

While many reports are yet to come, lots of areas, highly disturbed owing to cow slaughter already, have been identified. These include Nagarukra Hanripara, P.S. Haringhata, District: Nadia, Durbarhat, P.S. Falta, District: 24 Paraganas (South), several areas of Barasat, and without a shred of doubt Sankrail in District: Howrah.

Hindu-Muslim clashes erupted in Dakshin Sankrail Kalitala, P.S. Sankrail, District: Howrah today for obvious reasons. During noon, a few Muslim boys were found to carry beef through the Hindu area discounting prevalent Hindu perspective. When a few Hindu boys tried to stop them, the Muslim boys fled only to return with a gang comprising almost 90 Muslim boys at 4.30 pm that started plundering in the locality once it appeared.

Thanks to presence of more Hindu boys there, the incivility was stopped within a next few minutes and at the moment, clarion call is being given from the nearby mosque urging Muslims in the environs to get united.

A large contingent of police personnel have been deployed at the spot.

Whatever may be the judicious and wise intentions of the highest forms of judiciary in India, its verdicts have got to be implemented in point of fact and this can be done only if the concerned administration and its immediate superior, the government, do remain honest at the same instant. Otherwise the court orders turn out to be a mockery and the same is taking place at the moment in Bengal.

We reported earlier of opening of thousands of makeshift markets flaunting merchandising of healthy cows throughout Bengal. Now it’s a reality that Bengal police and administration is unable to stop the slaughter, going on rampantly at the moment, flouting stringent court orders (passed by Hon’ble Calcutta High Court, 2010 and Hon’ble Supreme Court later – strengthened in latest order passed by C.J. Mr. Jay Narayan Patel on 2nd Nov.2011) against cow slaughter.

But this should not have been as the Bombay High Court too took the subject of cow slaughter into consideration strongly and came out with the following historic decision.

Prevent illegal slaughter on Bakri-Eid: Bombay High Court

The Bombay High court on Friday directed the Mumbai Police Commissioner to inform the police stations and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), to ensure that there is no illegal slaughtering of animals in the city during Bakri-Eid, scheduled to be on Monday.

The vacation bench of Justice Roshan Dalvi and Justice A Sayyed directed Bhartiya Gauvansh Rakshan SamvardhanParishad, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), to approach the police commissioner and the BMC to apprise them of the state's two circulars issued in October banning illegal slaughtering.

As per the circular of October 20, issued by the home department, the police commissioner and the district collector, were asked to ensure that there is no illegal slaughtering in their jurisdiction and senior police inspectors were instructed to provide necessary protection to the BMC officials.

According to the circular of October 13, the authorities have to appoint an experienced officer at the abattoirs, who will check the animals before giving them a certificate and ensure that no ill or below-age animal is allowed to be slaughtered.

According to the petitioners in areas like Agripada and Nagpada, a large number of live stock has been brought for slaughter in the by-lanes during Eid. The petitioners had approached the concerned police stations but got no positive response. They had moved the Mazgaon metropolitan court, which had ordered the police to seize and seal all the illegal animals in the court's jurisdiction.

However, since the order was for a limited area the NGO had moved the high court for implementation of the circular throughout the city. The bench thus in their orders informed the NGO to move the police commissioner and the BMC, informing about the state governments circular and comply with them.

Worst fears of Hindus are coming true! Witnessing the lackluster attitude of the local administration it was felt that in spite of the presence of stringent court orders (passed by Hon’ble Calcutta High Court, 2010 and Hon’ble Supreme Court later – strengthened in latest order passed by C.J. Mr. Jay Narayan Patel on 2nd Nov.2011) against cow slaughter, becoming more and more prominent on each Eid-uz-zuha or Bakra Eid, the administration would do nothing.

And the same is taking place on the whole. Thousands of makeshift markets flaunting merchandising of healthy cows have opened all over Bengal and even in some areas Islamic ruffians have already started to behave with Hindus ostentatiously. Where is the Hindu sentiment and religious belief then? It happens to be the greatest casualty to the existing governance and once again it is proved, no government in India even dither to hurt Hindu conviction ever.

How disgraceful can the attitude of the government in this context be is best found from the Order issued (on 03.11.2011) from the Office of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Diamond Harbour, 24 Paraganas (South), Govt. of West Bengal. It contains do’s and don’ts and official recognition of Bakra Eid and its sacrificial meat flouting the decisions of the Hon’ble Judiciary in India. It is worthwhile to mention, more than a thousand copies of this notice has been pasted on the walls of houses of that village by police. The whole intention of this order is only to threaten the Hindus and keep them inside their houses who may dare to ask the administration to implement the land's highest court's unambiguous order to stop Cow Slaughtering on the occasion of Bakra-Eid. That means, directly flouting Supreme Court and High Court orders, administration is taking every measure to ensure smooth and unhindered Slaughtering of healthy Cows on the occasion of Bakra Eid. This is called applied 'Secularism' in our country.

Administration fails to save Hindus – what next!

There is no need to describe Jagaddhatri, another form of Devi, the Supreme Goddess, to Hindus and at the moment the whole of Bengal is ardent to worship her in the best manner. People of village Yarpur, P.S. Usti, District: 24 Paraganas (South) in the Indian state of Bengal were also thinking similarly – but no more.

While the holy deity of Devi Jagaddhatri was being carried from Balarampur (in the vicinity) to Yarpur, today itself, around 08.30 pm (IST), a band of Islamic thugs, containing at least 100, just pounced on the vehicle and Hindus accompanying it and destroyed the deity in a little while. The shocking incident took place at Chalkraypur Ghoshpara and the stunned Hindus owing to paucity of strength and their numbers couldn’t resist the crooks at that time.

The news did spread like a wild fire in the locality soon and Hindu Samhati activists rushed to the spot. What did they find after reaching there was terrible – the holy deity was fragmented and even urinated. Witnessing this Hindus burst into protest and situation went beyond control of the local police, making best efforts to throttle protesting Hindu youths. RAF (Rapid Action Force) was called in and as per the latest info, a large contingent of RAF personnel is stationed at the spot.

It has been learnt that broken parts of the holy deity have been carried to the pandal and police is leaving no stone unturned to pacify Hindus. Situation is fiery at the moment, it is needles to say.

An Essay Towards Balkanisation

Stop Cow Slaughter – Now

We have already reported that heralding a historic decision, through an interim order, a Division Bench of Hon’ble Calcutta High Court has asked the state to put the provisions West Bengal Animal Slaughter (Control) Act, 1950, if any cow slaughter on Bakr-e-Id is brought to its notice, into operation. And there is hardly any doubt that the stern observation of Calcutta High Court of the same has stimulated Hindus, after centuries, to hope for a day when there will not be any form of slaughter of cows and hence, no affront to Hinduism in any way.

Now the question remains whether the state administration defying its own craving for Muslim votes, to save its own skin and kith and kin, will dare to implement the same. The issue is quite clear – there can’t be any more deception to Hindus. Whether the reigning Bengal government, conforming to judicial instructions, can put an end to cow slaughter is a matter to be observed but any failure on its part is not a contempt of court only but a gross failure to safeguard Hindu conviction also.

Cow slaughter has got to be stopped – come what may or else aggrieved Hindus will realize once again that laws of Union of India are effete to save their dignity – a realization that will vitiate (ruin) coming days only.

Muslims should end cow slaughter once and for all in India

Eid-ul-zuha or Bakra eid is going to take place on November 7, 2011 and likewise (akin to the previous years) whole of India is apprehensive of an impending danger, if not more. What is the reason behind this apprehension? After all it is a religious festival and being a Sovereign, Secular, Democratic Republic, Union of India enables every citizen of India to conform to his/her religious belief and practice it without any fear or coercion! This happens to be the core belief of any sane Indian but what he/she remains ignorant of happens to be the missing link behind bloody rough-and-tumble every year. Bakra eid has become the greatest embodiment of cow slaughter, a saga getting more and more prominent hurting Hindu sentiment majorly.

Here is a small note on Eid-ul-zuha. In a nutshell, this festival, on each year, is celebrated on the 10th of the month Zilhaj, of Islamic calendar. Why is it known as Bakra eid also? The sole reason behind this is that, in accordance with Islamic tradition across the globe, each Muslim, capable enough to earn beyond a specific limit, has got to slaughter a goat or sheep (bakra), or any other animal big halal animal and dish it out into three parts. What’s the division then? While the owner keeps one part, the other two parts go to his relatives and impoverished human beings respectively.

The day has another great significance too. Eid-ul-zuha, to cut a long story short, does denote the event of Ibrahim when he was ready enough to sacrifice his child for the sake of God.

Had the celebration remained up to this, it would have been best. But in India problem begins and heightens with the Muslims’ insistence to sacrifice and slaughter cows instead of (traditionally) goat or bakra hurting Hindu sentiments a great deal. Don’t the Muslims know the Hindu grievance in this regard? Hindus and Muslims have been living in India for more than a millennium side by side; any such justification of dearth of knowledge, hence, falls flat.

The reality is that cow happens to be the most sacred animal to Hinduism known hitherto. Lord Krishna was himself a cowherd while bull is the one and only vehicle of Lord Shiva. Cow, as a result, is no longer an animal but does epitomize Hinduism in its entirety. Here are a few anecdotes to authenticate the sanctity of cows in ancient Hindu scriptures as well. In Mahabharata, Bhishma says: "Cows represent sacrifice. Without them, there can be no sacrifice…Cows are guileless in their behavior and from them flow sacrifices…and milk and curds and butter. Hence cows are sacred...." As per him, cow is nothing other than a surrogate mother as she renders milk to human beings for the whole life.

Even in Puranas, ancient Hindu scriptures, copious references of sanctitude of cows are present. It is said there in glowing terms that nothing is more holier-than-thou than the gift of cows. "There is no gift that produces more blessed merit." Lord Rama was given a wedding gift of thousands of cows and bullocks when he married Sita.

Cow was elevated to divinity in the Rig Veda as well. In Book VI, Hymn XXVIII attributed to Rishi Bhardwaja extols the virtue of the cow. In Atharva Veda (Book X, Hymn X), the cow is formally designated as Vishnu, and `all that the Sun surveys'.

All the aforementioned instances are enough to corroborate divinity of cows in Hinduism and certainly among Hindus and how any harm to her ever can hurt Hindu conscience. Why do not Muslims call slaughtering cows on Eid-ul-zuha or Bakra eid a halt honoring such a Hindu conviction then? Islam emanates from Arabic culture and cow remains absent in that part of the globe. The word Bakra, therefore, in no way relates to cow; it can surely be replaced by goat or sheep or any other animal in the Indian context.

The time has come for Muslims in India to revere the Hindu mindset and put a stop to cow slaughter (becoming more and more prominent) once and for all.
