Burnt home. The surprising fact is the utensils of the hapless family are still there, they have not been looted. Maybe with the army at their heels the jihadis didn’t have the time. It is also quite difficult to be fleet footed when you are weighed down with plunder. Well, better luck next time. (There will be a next time, don’t you worry)

The bone of contention, the Durga Mandap – this is permanent structure where Durga Puja, the biggest Bengali religious festival is held every year. The land behind the Mandap is a deserted and disputed graveyard whose ownership is sub judice in court. This place is called ‘Chattal Palli’. It would be immediately apparent to any Bengali speaking person that this village was set up by Hindu refugees of partition from the district of Chattagram or Chittagong in East Bengal.

Trouble spot. This narrow unmetalled path connects the Durga Mandap and Chattal palli to the main road. The local Muslims started to dig a canal across this path to isolate both Durga mandap and the village from the main road. They have already laid a claim on the disputed graveyard. Isolation would aid them to grab the temple land at the earliest opportunity. The local Hindus resisted.

They are real Hindus. Power to them.
Not these so called upper castes who created this problem of communists in the first place. They are hypocrites.All that their young ones want is girl friends or boy friends.
I hate to see Hindus being divided on caste lines at this juncture. But I have to say this: During my study in Kanpur, I spoke to many Bengalis and found that they are supporters of communists.
How would you feel if I say this: most of them are living in US and those living in India have a salary of more than Rs 2,00,000/ per month. Such is their hypocrisy. They live in cities like Bangalore and Chennai and Hyderabad.
They supported a monster and but not facing its consequences. Irony! Even the ones, like Mukherjees or Banerjees or Chaterjees, I found them to be utter idiots. Not all but most.
It is because of these people, some non Bengali Hindus say, Bengalis are suffering and they deserve it. It is these idiots who distanced themselves from reality. Have you seen some comments made at some websites like haindava keralam or some others? If yes, one will understand what I am saying.
But lets unite in every conceivable way to face this monster of Islamic Jihad and to educate others about what could be real future if current trends are not checked.

Bengali Hindus in WB are utterly disorganized and lack any religious solidarity. Years of Socialist and Communist moorings have destroyed the Hindu culture to a large extent. This is not to say that there are not proud and activist Hindus; however, they are too few. The mass of the general Hindu populace lacks pride and awareness. If this trend continues, Hindu Bengalis will lose their land once more.
If this would have happened in any other Hindu majority state in India (except Kerala), there would have been some sort of retaliation in the immediate area or in some neighboring areas. Not in Bengal. And do you know what's common between Kerala and WB? Large percentages of Muslims and years of Socialist and Communist attack on the Hindu vertebra. The prospect is better for Kerala b/c 1) it's not surrounded by any large Muslim majority nation, 2) there is a militant streak amongst the Hindus, 3) In case of a religious Armageddon, Christians would most likely ally with the Hindus.
Unless the Bengali Hindus wake up to the clear and present danger, worse outcomes await them. I personally think that they would wake up in about 20 years but it might too late by then.
