Durga Puja Greetings from Shri Tapan Ghosh, and the Hindu Samhati team

SUBHA SRI SRI DURGA PUJA

On the auspicious occasion of Sri Sri Durga Puja, celebrating the home coming of Devi Durga and invoking the divinity to beat anti-Hindu forces hollow and call religious persecutions on Hindus a halt, I convey my best wishes to all on behalf of Hindu Samhati.

Sri Sri Durga Puja has a few significations at the same time. While it enthuses a Hindu to invoke and worship virility in Goddess to enable her worshipers to fight against and overwhelm injustice and persecution, it also brings forth an aura of merriment. Hindus worship Mata joyously. Nevertheless, the second saga of merriment is getting difficult more and more.

One more incident, with the passing of each day, authenticates religious persecutions on Hindus more conspicuously and all these are happening in our Bengal, let alone harrowing experiences of Hindus in Bangladesh. It’s, therefore, the most apposite time for Hindus to identify the greatest devil, taking cue from the divine struggle of Goddess Durga against demon Mahisasura.

"Tretaya mantra shaktischa, Jnana shakti kruteyuge; Dwapare yudha shaktischa, Sangha shakti kalou yuge.” We, hence, must stand united as a single unit to fight against all adversities inflicted by the greatest adversaries of Hindu Dharma – it is humane to forget and forgive, it is divine to resist and repay.

On this sanctified occasion denoting TRIUMPH of Holiness over Evil, there is only one Prayer from me. I hope all Hindus, who and their forefathers have been expelled from their homes by the Islamic aggressors ranging from Afghanistan to Bangladesh, Kashmir to Assam or from any other part of Akhand Bharat, observe this day by taking a solemn pledge. It’s to recover our ancient land – Punyahumi, Pitribhumi ancient Bharatvarsha – sanctified thoroughly and devoid of any Jihadi aggression.

Let us all pray to Devi Durga, the savior of the world, to shield homelands of the Hindus from wreckage, to save the honor of our women and provide strength to our youth. Let Devi provide us the courage to fight back against religious persecution.
