Codification of Hindu laws in India is not Uniform Civil Code

Does Uniform Civil Code in India mean codification of Hindu laws only disregarding their age-old beliefs and customs and leave other religious communities undisturbed? This has been the sole practice of the Indian establishment down the ages even if Article 44 in The Constitution Of India states clearly, “ Uniform civil code for the citizens The State shall endeavour to secure for the citizens a uniform civil code throughout the territory of India.”

Decades have passed but Hindus have been sacrificing themselves for Uniform Civil Code only.

How long will this continue? It’s the time for Hindus to speak up.
